The Center for Student Involvement would like to proudly announce

Adelphi’s Student Leader of the Month for November 2016:

Laianna Wright


Laianna is a leader in various capacities at Adelphi University, including serving as a Resident Assistant, Orchestra Manager/Librarian for the Music Department, President of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and Vice President of National Residence Hall Honorary. She is described by her nominators as professional, passionate and inspiring. This month she coordinated and led the NAACP Freeze Mob, spreading awareness and promoting social justice. She was also recently inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa.

Nominations are due by the last Friday of each month during the academic semester, nominate someone today. The Center for Student Involvement would also like to thank everyone who nominated a student this month.
