Commuter Appreciation Week Fall 2017: November 6-11

Are you ready for the best week of the semester?

Each semester the Commuter Student Organization puts together a week of activities, free food and giveaways to celebrate one of Adelphi’s largest populations on campus, commuter students! Below are the list of activities planned for this semester.

Monday, November 6

Commuter Stop: 11:00. a.m.-1:00 p.m., University Center Plaza
Enjoy free giveaways, treats and find out about the rest of the week’s activities.

Commuter Assistant Event- Fall Festival: 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m., Center for Recreation and Sports, Campbell Lounge 1 & 2 
Enjoy pumpkin decorating, candy apple decorating, popcorn and cotton candy.

Lip Sync Battle: 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., University Center Underground Cafe
Battle a friend and see who can lip sync the best, enjoy free snacks too.

Tuesday, November 7

Commuter Connection: 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m., University Center Commuter Lounge
Enjoy free breakfast items including coffee tea and juice.

Obstacle Course for Alcohol Awareness: 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m., University Center Lobby 
Try and complete an obstacle course wearing “beer goggles” on mini-tricycles and compete for prizes

Wednesday, November 8

Dippin’ Dots: 12:00p.m.-2:00p.m., University Center Plaza (Rain location: Lobby)
Enjoy free Dippin’ Dots (while supplies last).

Thursday, November 9

Domo Taco Truck, 12:00p.m.-2:00p.m., University Center Plaza
Enjoy free tacos from Domo Taco including a variety of proteins and vegetarian options (while supplies last).

Friday, November 10

Popsockets & Popcorn, 12:00p.m.-2:00p.m., University Center Lobby
Enjoy a free bag of popcorn and grab a Commuters pop socket (while supplies last).

Buffalo Wild Wings Fundraiser, 5:00 p.m.-9:00p.m., Westbury
Support a cause that is near and dear the Commuter Student Organization’s heart. Show your server the flyer for the event and tell them you are there for Commuter Student Organization, and proceeds will be donated to Commuters for a Cure Relay for Life team.
